Steph Winchester graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2014 from the Australian Catholic University. Steph joined our Caringbah team after working in a large private practice for several years treating a variety of musculoskeletal and sporting injuries.

Sport has always been a part of Steph’s life and she grew up playing multiple sports including netball, soccer, and basketball and she continues to play touch football at a representative level. With this involvement in sport Steph developed a keen interest in injury prevention and management.

Steph thrives on helping her patients reach their full potential and has  wide experience in treating both an athletic and general population. She utilises a hands-on and exercise–based approach to treatment, centred around the most recent evidence. Steph is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and has completed post qualification training in the following areas:

  • Sports Level 1 2016
  • The Sporting Spine Course
  • Dr. Peter Malliaris Lower Limb Tendinopathy Course
  • APPI Matwork And Equipment Pilates Level 1
  • The Pregnant Pelvis

A career highlight for Steph was the opportunity to travel with the Australian Touch Football teams to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the 2019 World Cup.

Outside of work Steph enjoys an active lifestyle with her husband and young family, spending time at the beach and catching up with family and friends.
