Emily completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Australian Catholic University in North Sydney. A passionate interest in sport, health and people inspired Em to pursue a career which supports and motivates people to live healthy and active lives.
Em has been involved in many sports as a player, coach and sports trainer. Growing up, she was a member of Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club and played representative soccer for Sutherland Sharks in the NSW Women’s Premier League and representative touch football for Easts Roosters.
Lots of injuries saw her visiting the physio regularly and so The Healthy Body Company soon became her second home.
Em has a special interest in musculoskeletal injuries for people of all ages, including the general population and athletes.
Outside of the clinic, Em works with NSW Touch Football, Australia Touch Football & Burraneer Rugby Union Club. She has also undertaken further training for temporomandibular joint (TMJ) physiotherapy. This has seen her building a strong relationship with local dentists and orthodontists to diagnose and treat TMJ disorders and associated conditions such as cervicogenic headaches.
She believes that the goal of her treatment is to empower people to achieve their goals and achieve optimum health.
